Various things I’ve drawn, designed or otherwise created just for fun.
Horde of Neurons – a webcomic
At the start of 2011 I decided to (finally) publish an ongoing comic strip online. It’s still very new, so if you like what you see please tell your friends and/or enemies about it.
Land Unknown

Around 1998 I created a gated social network called Land Unknown. People who joined could share comments, stories, images, could talk on a message board and do it all privately – only members with a login could read posted content. Members also had their own @landunknown.com email address and could read and send their mail through the website. This was a solid 5 years before MySpace and about 4 years prior to Gmail. I created various “front doors” for the site along with a few simple Flash games and time-wasters. The site was running strong until about 2006, and was a lot of fun. A few screenshots and links are below:
- The “comic” front-door – One of the early versions.
- Fun Facts: #1 – a little pseudo-game involving a bunny, a shovel and a passenger jet. My friends still talk about this.
- One of the loading screens – TV’s are anti-gravity devices, when used properly.
- A later version of the front-door.
- And the last front-door - This was my favorite.
I still have the domain, but it’s been in a state of limbo ever since. I keep thinking about reviving it and rebuilding LU – especially now, when Facebook is so popular while simultaneously F’ing you over when it comes to your privacy.
Misc. Flash Tinkerings

- Animated drunk dial – My friend Joanne used to call me whenever she was shitfaced. I started recording them and played them on my radio show. This is one I decided to animate, but haven’t finished. Warning: might not be safe for work. This auto-plays with sound and has a few naughty words.
- Sneeze – a really crude pencil test of a animated sneeze I did in 2000
- Persona-Swapper – sort of a Mr. Potatohead with Flash
- Tentacle Boy – a rough animation test/title card for a character of mine
